SSC’s Commitment to Excellence Earns National Recognition from DBM

Guided by the leadership of SUC President II, Dr. Steven J. Sumaylo, Siquijor State College takes pride in being recognized with a Very Satisfactory rating in the 2024 Budget ng Bayan Monitor released by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM).

Conducted every year, the Annual Performance Review (APR) assesses the physical and financial performance of National Government Agencies, Other Executive Offices (OEOs), Constitutional Commissions, and State Universities and Colleges (SUCs). It also evaluates the timeliness and quality of their submitted reports for the immediately preceding fiscal year.

This recognition affirms Siquijor State College’s vision, mission, and core values, embodying its strong commitment to public service, transparency and accountability while advancing improved learning environments, high-impact research, and responsive community programs. It also marks another milestone in the institution’s continuing journey toward becoming a university.
