SSC Successfully Completed Virtual AACCUP Preliminary Survey Visit for DevComm and Political Science Programs

Siquijor State College successfully completed the Virtual Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) Preliminary Survey Visit for the Bachelor of Science in Development Communication and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science Programs held on September 22- 26 2025.

The faculty of the College of Arts and Sciences, led by their Dean and Quality Assurance Director, Dr. Renalyn B. Bantawig, together with Assistant Dean, Dr. Marjorie P. Eslit, demonstrated remarkable cooperation and hard work in preparing for accreditation and completing all required documents. Faculty members and staff from other departments also extended their support throughout the process. This collective effort and dedication truly reflect the unity and resilience of the college.

The series of collective discussions among the faculty of the College of Arts and Sciences over the survey visit period has inspired the college to work harder in refining its curriculum, enhancing its services, and ensuring that students receive the quality education they deserve.

Dr. Mary Ann M. Temprosa, Vice President for the Academic Affairs extends her heartfelt gratitude during the closing program to the esteemed accreditors, Prof. Maricel P. Silva of Bulacan State University and Dr. Kim Edward S. Santos of Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology, for generously sharing their time, effort, and valuable insights during the virtual preliminary survey visit. Their observations and recommendations will greatly contribute to strengthening the programs, ensuring compliance with standards, and reinforcing the shared commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement.

The successful completion of the Virtual AACCUP Preliminary Survey Visit reflects the collective dedication of the SSC community under the administration of the SUC President II,  Dr. Steven J.
