SSC Community Joins Hands to Support School-Based Voluntary Mass Blood Donation

Siquijor State College uplifts the spirit of generosity  through a School -Based Voluntary Mass Blood Donation held at the SSC Covered Court on September 25, 2025.

The event was facilitated by the SSC School Clinic Personnel – Dr. Jinji L. Omictin, Part-Time Physician; Mr. Evan Jay V. Camero, College Nurse II; and  Ms. Joyce Eve P. Jumawan, Admin Aide I. In coordination with the Provincial Government of Siquijor under the administration of Governor Jake Vincent S. Villa, Larena Primary Care Facility Personnel headed by Dr. Jemma M. Fortich, Integrated Provincial Health Office Personnel headed by Dr. Jeff Lorenz U. Booc and the Provincial Blood Program Coordinator, Ms. Pamela Dominguez.

SSC Community wholeheartedly participated in this noble cause demonstrating the institution’s commitment to community service and public health. This activity aimed to help sustain the blood supply in the province and  promote awareness on the importance of voluntary blood donation.

Guided by SUC President II, Dr. Steven J. Sumaylo, this initiative shows SSC’s belief that true service is found in sharing. Through acts of generosity like blood donation, the college nurtures compassion, unity, and care for the people of Siquijor.
