Siquijor State College Celebrates CLE Success Through CCJE Testimonials 2025: Inspiring Future Criminologists
Every year, Siquijor State College proudly produces graduates who go on to shine in diverse paths of success through their chosen careers. On September 4, 2025, SSC celebrated the triumphs and dedication of the College of Criminal Justice Education students who successfully passed the prestigious Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE) through CCJE Testimonials 2025. The recognition ceremony was held at the SSC Student Center. This is to honor their hard work and perseverance and the collective support of their mentors, families, and the SSC community.
Commitment, Courage, Justice, and Excellence. SUC President II, Dr. Steven J. Sumaylo, highlighted these values of the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) in his inspirational message to the SSC community and reminding everyone that these principles serve as the guiding light of the college and its future criminologists.
“As you stand on the threshold of your professional journey, remember the certificate you will soon receive is far more than a piece of paper. It is a symbol of trust bestowed upon you by the community, your mentors, and yourself. This trust calls you to serve with integrity, led with humanity, and protected with passion.” reflected by Dr. Sumaylo as part of his inspiring message.
On the other hand, Dr. Eric Mark Opaon and Mr. Ryan T. Figer also leaves heartfelt reflections and encouragement as an academic mentor to the CLE Passers and to the overall community under the CCJE.
As the presentation of CLE 2024 and 2025 passers unfolded, the SSC Student Center echoed with loud applause and pride. Among those recognized were Ms. Jamby O. Apiag, former JAG President and CLE 2024 passer; Mr. Dante Palalon, CLE 2025 passer with an impressive 88.90% rating; and Hon. Christian Ian Cariño, CLE passer and SKPF President. They were given the privilege to share heartfelt testimonials of their once-in-a-lifetime achievement, inspiring the SSC community with their journey of perseverance, dedication, and success.
On the other hand, last April 8, 2025 Siquijor State College under the administration of SUC President II, Dr. Steven J. Sumaylo got the remarkable recognition at the IEC Convention Center Cebu (IC3) Cebu City, from the Professional Regulation Commission through the Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology for being the Top 2 Performing School In the Region 7 with 50 up to 99 examinees with a passing percentage of (87.93 for first takers) in the February 2025 Criminologist Licensure Examination.
The ceremony closed with pride and inspiration, as SSC’s CLE passers of 2024 and 2025 stood as proof that hard work, perseverance, and integrity lead to success. They now carry the promise of serving with courage and excellence for the community and the nation and bringing the pride of SSC. Truly, SSC with its outstanding rank, continues to build its reputation as a leading institution in shaping competent and principled criminologists for the community, the region, and the nation.
