SSC Moves to the Beat in Celebration of the 125th Civil Service Anniversary

Siquijor State College faculty and staff came together with joyful energy for a lively Zumba Dance Session, the culminating activity in celebration of the 125th Civil Service Anniversary, held at the SSC Student Center on September 30, 2025.

The event was organized by the SSC Administrative Office, headed by Dr. Nila T. Caroro, Chief Administrative Officer and energetically hosted by Mr. Kyle B. Samson, Records Officer III.

The Zumba Dance Session was led by  Mr. Ronn Mark Dimagnaong, Director for Cultural Affairs, together with the Siquijor State College Kultura Filipina Folkloric Dance Troupe. Dressed in their athletic attire, SSC faculty and staff enthusiastically joined the warm-up, main Zumba Dance Session, and cool-down exercises while smiling through the sweat and moving together in one groove.

The spirited Zumba Dance marked a joyful culmination of the 125th Civil Service Anniversary celebration and reflected the strong sense of community and wellness fostered under the visionary leadership of SUC President II, Dr. Steven J. Sumaylo. His commitment to promoting unity, health, and morale among faculty and staff continues to inspire meaningful engagement and a vibrant campus culture at Siquijor State College.
